BNA Building Accessibility Upgrades
2019 - Kelowna, BC
This project was executed to create a required accessible entry and elevator to a recently renovated heritage industrial building in downtown Kelowna. The structure was conceived as a sleek black glass tower to contrast from then rough and varied masonry of the original building. The exit stair and structure are both of black painted structural steel and clad in dark bronze aluminum storefront window system.
We believe the original building was an agricultural storage warehouse and is now an the home of BNA; an active brew-pub that has become a fixture in Kelowna, as well as other ground floor CRUs.
