The shelter includes 12 shared dog apartments, 4 communal indoor-outdoor areas for cats. small animal room, isolation & interview rooms & viewing areas,

The centre utilizes a sophisticated ventilation system to reduce the spread of airborne disease, and a large multi-purpose room that can be used for training, education and other community uses. The two functions share a large multipurpose room with washroom and kitchenette for community, as well as shared use.
